BOT Construction Project of the Jinshan First Water Supply Plant Project (Phase II)

With a scale of 200,000 m3/d, the BOT Construction project of Jinshan First Water Supply PlantPhase II Project composed of three parts, namely water pump station, raw water pipeline and water treatment plant. The water pump station covered an area of 7.5 mu (5,000 m2) and had three individual buildings (structures). The raw water pipeline was 8 km long, linking water pump station and water treatment plant and offering raw water for water treatment plant. The water treatment plant covered an area of 145.6 mu (97,067 m2), composed of 15 individual buildings (structures). The total building area was 4,049 m2 and total cost was RMB 202,356,600. After completion, the Jinshan First Water Supply Plant (Phase I & II) will be a key project that serves the whole Jinshan District to improve the water quality for residents in Jinshan District. Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. was in charge of the whole process of the EPC project including design, procurement, construction, equipment installation, debugging, personnel training, water quality inspection, commissioning and transferring to the proprietor.

The construction engineering was started on Mar. 31st, 2011 and completed at Jun. 30th, 2012, which was eligible for water supply. Granted with the titles of Safe and Civilized Construction Site in Shanghai, Quality, Safe and Civilized Water Project Site for Observation in Shanghai and Civilized Construction Site in Shanghai in 2011, the project was favored by proprietors, supervisors and supervision station.
